Has their been any CONFIRMATION on any of this other than everyone has "heard" that someone failed a test??? Not that I know of.

Either way, be assured this isn't about one rider. If it was about one rider everything would be out in the open by now.

It seems like everyone is out to find the worst in everyone. And I may be wrong but I think this is just a case of someone being a bit careless but not intending to be a "cheater". Especially for 1 week. Doesn't make sense.
If that is part of an all including press release, there would be no dragging through the mud. All they need to say is who the rider is, what the infraction was, and allow them space in the release to tell their side of the story. It could easily be explained as a simple mistake if it was one, and nobody would have any lasting effects. Of course that would be too simple, and everything has to be a massive event.Huh

Exactly. People think PEDS, first thing. But that is wrong in a lot of cases. What you have to consider is this. How many times did RV, RD and JS finish on the podium last year in SX? Quite a lot. So they were possibly tested several times in the 17 race schedule. We don't know exactly how much. For this to be the only positive hit and then we know again at Thunder Valley there was testing...different organization, I understand...but testing nonetheless......well, I just think it is plainly obvious that this was something taken to ward off sickness or by the advice of a Dr. and maybe they thought it was okay. Or heck, maybe they were sick and just weren't really paying enough attention due to being SICK!

And that is a total different ball game than cheating. Careless? Yes, A mistake, yes? Cheating? NO.

Think, for example, if someone runs a red light and hits another car and someone is killed. Is it terrible? Of course. But did they mean to hurt someone? No. And the punishment isn't the same than if someone tried to kill someone. A crude analogy...and not in the same ball park as human life, of course but I think you get my point.

But, what if the driver that ran the red light had been DUI? Yep, to jail they go!
