are either made out of rubber or tough as nails, or both. It seems like every time one of them crashes it is absolutely a spectacular crash that could be woven into a highlight reel, yet they are ready to go the next race/moto/week.

I replied to this thread but I either didn't hit submit or I'm getting clipped. There are lots of riders on the gate that are just as tough as the Stewart bros....but they don't finish high enough to get any air time. I wish we knew more background on the 20 to 40 place guys. Lappers maybe...but still fast mofos with cool back stories.

I've always thought James bounces off the ground after gnarly crashes better than anyone... except maybe RC

It would be awesome if they would cover a different privateer at each round. Some of these guys could really benefit from some extra exposure. While the core fans know the story of most of the riders, the causal fan might only know the top 10-15 riders.

RC didn'tcrash often but when he did it was usually a complete yardsale. I was always amazed how he would always instantly spring to his feet, sprint back to his bike and resume without having to shake it off or gather himself. I don't recall ever seeing him walk off from a crash or sit on a hay bale to carch his breath or assess injury, that MFer was the bad ass of bad asses.
