Circa 1985....this shows just how good the 1984 KX125 motor was! Plus I think I only weighed about 135 lbs back then!
Circa 1988...I remeber #8 getting sideways and tank slapping trying to save it as I blew by him into the next corner. Good times back then!

Grizz and Saylor have me beat for sure though! Grizz is the Mike Alessi of his local series it looks like haha
Unless someone else can post a picture of them leading all of these dudes PLUS Alessi into turn one, there is not topping this

Pit Row
Nephew 6 year old. Ripped this one.
A few years later in 07 at Perris I grabbed the sweetest holeshot at a Ponca qualifier over the holeshot artist himself Brady Kiesel. Both of those were my only holeshots, no pic of the Perris one, and it's by far one of the coolest feelings coming out of the first turn in 1st.
My first holeshot and the first time I ever lead a race. I remember thinking what do I do now that I am up front.
I was surprised that I still got the holeshot with how much I was trying to fan the clutch to keep the front down
I barely backed off the throttle for this corner
