Morais, Logan, Turbo, Tyler and his Fiance Janine met for a fun day of riding Friday the 26th at Starwest that turned bad just one lap into the day when Tyler went over the bars breaking his left femur and more seriously sustaining head Trauma that leaves him in what his Fiance calls a sleep like state. Tyler is a great rider who has competed in west coast series and at the moment works for Truth clothing but rides on a consistent basis. If you guys could put this on every message board you are joined the family and Tyler could use all your prayers!

Hello everyone,
This is the first chance I've gotten to get on the computer. First I would like to thank everyone for your prayers for Tyler. Everyone has been so wonderful and supportive and can't imagine going through this without all of you!!!
Tyler is still in ICU and is in serious but stable condition. He has longer periods of wakefulness but can't carry on a conversation for more than a couple of sentences, then he says a bunch of stuff that makes no sense, and he goes back out again. They are still treating him with Mannitol (aka "brain drain") to keep the swelling in his brain under control. He had the surgery to repair his femur. That went well. He is receiving breathing treatments to treat the fluid in his lungs and (I found out this morning) he has a partial collapse of his right lung! He did drink a milkshake this morning and had a little soft food around lunch time. (yeah)
We are working on getting him transferred to Mission Hospital so he can be closer to us (he's in Riverside currently). As for the recovery, the Doctors can't really tell us because with a brain injury it's a waiting game. You have to just wait and see how it "plays out". But he said it would be months.
So, I think I've covered everything.....although I'm not altogether with it right now.
But, once again......THANK YOU ALL for your prayers!!!
