+1

Looks like he’s just cruising around.. Pretty fast cruising thoughCheerful
I agree, smooth yes, exciting to watch....nah ah.

I actually felt quite frustrated watching him in the last race of the day, it looked as if his mind was elsewhere.

Anthony Boissiere was the stand out GP rider for me. As a late replacement and only 12th in the World this year he had one hell of a Motocross des Nations! I was gutted for him when he got his puncture.

I thought he was struggling as well. He's usually very smooth same type as Pourcel and should have down better. I was also disapointed by Barragan and Nagl, while the world champ Philli rode ok but was expecting slightly more.

I have been cheering for Ramon all year in the GP's, but it gets me frustrated Dizzy He has a lot of talent and an superb style. But I have been waiting for the Racer Ramon all year.. I'm just hopeing for a return of a healthy Kenneth Gundersen next year, so I can have somebody else to cheer for. Wink

He said he collected an injury at the final round of the Belgian Champs the weekend before. Thats why he was off his game. His results in class for the last few MXoN go like this

04-1st,
05-1st,
06-1st,
07-2nd,
08-2nd.

Even riding injured this year and last year, he still finished 2nd. Hes a valuable team member even when hes off his game

I've never seen racer Ramón, only Ramón the mathematician, if racer Ramon appeared he would be faster that anyone anywhere, but he don't like to push it and is happy to sit second, third just collecting points which is why he has 2 world titles. I remember reading an interview with his old mechanic and he said pretty much the same thing he won't battle and take chances
