You can't trademark a zebra pattern. Just because Fox is one of the only ones using it doesn't mean shit.
Grizz you're gonna have to back it down on this one bud.

Zebra stripes was done for Bradshaw and Chicken, yes by Fox, long before they adorned Bubba in it. In fact, they did it because Chicken and the Beast from the East were James' favourite guys when he was growing up watching races.

Trademark no. But it was Fox's "look".

Bradshaw was my favorite rider back in the early 90's...then Reynard, then Ezra...

I said that Fox is one of the only ones to do it. Exactly what you said, it's a look they did and have done.

PINK and zebra. PINK + ZEBRA, was Bubba's thing. A white guy couldn't pull that one off in 2003 Laughing

It was like Bubba's twist on what Bradshaw did.

It's all just fun. Consider it a history lesson. If everyone was nice to everyone else here it would be Mototalk for those who remember that place. Is it still around?Wink

Edit

I just realized that the main point was saying that fox would get mad over their "trade marked" gear was a ridiculous thought.

I don't know that i can think of any other gear company that has had it.

James had it in 02 and 04... but Bradshaw and Chicken had it, Johnson too ran some yellow/white version of it...

The reviews from the Stewart fans are like everything else regarding Stewart, extremely skewed. I think the Seven stuff is OK, there are a couple of pieces that I like which is about all I usually like of any of the gear lines each season. I don't hate Stewart despite what many on this board think but come on. It's right on par with most of the companies, as an extention of TLDs production how could it not. I like some of the Troy Lee stuff a little more than the Seven stuff but most of it is pretty nice. But let's be real about this. A totally unoriginal name, ever hear of One? A logo that looks a little too much like one Shift used the season before Seven even existed. And now doing retro gear based on one of the trademark pieces of one of the largest players in the game(I'm still wondering how that's going to play out if they try to sell it). It's nice stuff, it has a big name attached to it, groundbreaking, hardly.
Like EVERYTHING else you post, extremely skewed. Not even worth reading.
What's funny is you say the Stewart fans are skewed in their views, but it's so obvious your views are skewed, you make yourself irrelevant.

So you want Chaparral to mow your lawn and do the work and then you want to pay the kid next door for finishing the last 5 feet because you are an Un American shit bag. If you did that in early America they would shoot you. I love how you justify your shit bagness with I buy lots of other stuff there. And let me guess? You think your a good customer. You sound like the dirt bags that tell me how straight and honest they are and then want me to fake the paperwork and not charge them tax like they are talking it out of state, but they are not, see them riding new bike at Glen helen, but I thought you were going out of state

Since you aren't tracking, most of this shit is made in China, Mexico, Japan etc and you're talking about one American retailer vs. another. What's great about the US is you don't have to buy from your assigned source that presides over your district, we're a capitalist economy and exercise the freedom to choose. You ever hear of the American dream? Vince (BTO) is living it, and he's brought a shitload of people along for the ride over the years. If local dealers don't hire dipshits to work the counters and have decent prices they sell stuff, if they don't, well in America we don't blame the customer.
I have worked for a few of the major manufacturers for the last 20 yrs and have sold vince, Larry and all the guys at BTO 100s of thousands worth of parts every year along with Scott over at motosport and love they do well because it makes me money, I even buy from them. And I know where parts are made and who makes them, do you know who manufacturers asv perches? Race techs valving? The inter parts and rings for a drd exhaust system or radiator lowering kit? I keep hearing punk parts kid, the shops I go in to have hot chick's in the gear department that have grown up racing, father's work on factory race teams and they know there shit. The bottom line is you are sizing at one retailer to buy from another one. You are asking these people to work for free and that is Un American and a shit bag thing to do. Would you work for free? I would never work at a retail level because of people like you and you wonder why the parts guy are shitty it is because if a guy has enough pride to learn everything and be great at his job then he has enough pride that he isn't working for free. Every parts employee along with service and sales are on commission and most have families. But most Americans just care about themselves now instead of there community.

Where did you pull out of my post anything about sizing in a store? I'm guessing you're a chick, so I'm not going to go over the top and get you more emotional. I was criticizing your reference to the getting shot in early America, and that sometimes buying local and supporting the sport are two different things. Sometimes its not. If someone thinks they can tell me to buy local because it's local and anywhere else would be un-American, well, their writing probably looks like the above. But hey, thanks for your service!

Here's some more food for thought: most dudes know their sizes and can buy stuff through the mail without trying anything on. I don't think I've ever "tried on" riding gear, so why that is even up for discussion I don't know.

Oh, and I don't know who manufactures ASV, Race Tech Valves or DrD's internals. Is it you? If so, I'll avoid them. Lack of attention to detail is not something I want in regards to brakes and suspension.

You bring up so many invalid points that I can go all day but I won't. Your view of business is skewed. Get with the times or get left in the dust. Saying shopping at a local shop is caring for a community and if you don't shop there then you're not supporting the "community." Give me a break. Go volunteer at the local soup kitchen and support the homeless if you want to support your community. Sounds like you're bitter at a changing industry and you don't want to change...

All good gear came from the 80s and 90s.

Astars was bad ass when Alessi ran it.

You are right most guys to know there size so it makes it easy for me to order online and I do, but someone on here said exactly that, I go to the local shops and try stuff on then order online. that statement would have caused a guy some problems back in the day and yes it is anti American to say that, maybe you didn't say it but it was said and insinuated several times. Anyone that thinks like that is a jackhole.
