On Youtube I saw a thumbnail with James that said "race winners interview" and I thought I'd just seen a spoiler! But as soon as RV got that start there was definitely some doubt in my mind. Villopoto is gonna get to the front and put in Villopoto laps, and if you think can do something crazy to catch him then you're welcome to try. Stewart tried, and came up short.

Bigger surprise for me was Dungey's fade (even with all JS's mistakes) and Roczens (fastest qualifier). WTF, guys?

Maybe it really will be RV and Stewart 1 and 2 all summer.

I don't see RV and JS 1-2 this summer for some reason. Yes, Dungey did fade oddly, but outdoors and SX are very different. RD isn't finished yet guys. Something tells me that RD is gonna have something for Villo IMO. He's RV's nearest competitor speed wise in the Nationals. And there was proof of that last year, so there's no denying that. RV,RD,JS for the outdoors I think.

That was definitely my first assessment (Will Stewart get to RD5?), except maybe not the Dungey part.

I would bet this was said plenty of times last year: "Something tells me that RD is gonna have something for Villo"
And that was a year when he was actually fairly competitive with RV in supercross.

James was James last night. He just didn't crash (Probably luckily) and didn't have enough to run RV down.

Good friend of mine, long time NW racer, former pro, spoke at length to RV at SEA. Says that after talking with him he thinks there is a 99% chance Villopoto will NOT race the Nationals. Says it is not injury related but has more to do with income, hassle, and other personal issues. I hope he is wrong but we will see.
