After rebuilding a 89 KX250 last year and racing a few rounds in last years Dutch Pre90 evo class, i dicided that i needed a new winter project to work on this past winter.

I did some research and i came across a 87 CR250, looked quite fine in the online sales add. So i went to pick it up... But just as always, in real life those bikes are even worse then in the pictures...
This was what started with back in September 2013:

Started breaking it down, and then it finally hit me
I bought a piece of junk....


After removing all the parts and throwing 60% of its parts right where they should belong...in the scrapmetal box
I was left with this:
