Ive been a fan and honest fan of JS7 since the start, during his times of falling over I thought he would break the mental pressure I thought I'd never see a 2007 JS7 again but tonight he did it, to do it at his age is scary it looks like hes getting that confidence back he once had.

For him to get back to his best past the normal prime age for a rider is amazing watch out next year.

It's only a matter of time before Stewart pulls a Stewart and ends up on his head. Hope not, but history has a way of repeating itself.

I'm a MX junkie like the rest of you but I do watch other "real" sports and I always thought is was completely stupid that MX fans labeled RC the Goat.

Real sports fans know that label of "Greatest of All Time" belongs to just one legend in all sporting fields.

That is Muhammad Ali.

And we know the Goat label for anyone any other sport is slang for being a pretender.

Ali is the greatest athlete all time. And nobody uses the lazy term of "Goat" when speaking of the peoples champ, they say it as it should be "Greatest of all time".

James Stewert ain't no Goat, Tiger or King.

Maybe some media guy will come up something original that fits JS7, who also happens to be the greatest racer ever to ride dirt bike.

Tramp it!!

I think after all the troubles JS7 had on that Yamaha & then RV beating him so much the last few years, it was just mental. Once he got back on a bike he LOVED and then he beat RV strait up in Vegas, he starting getting his confidence back. I think once he seen RV was human after all, at the Monster cup, the real JS7 came back. Really 28 aint that old any more. Did MC win his last SX title at 29? Look at Reed 32 and has not lost a step! I remember people on here saying ya JS7 can run 10 laps no problem, but that he would not be able to hold RD & RV off for 20. Always an RV fan, but who cant love watching JS7 ride a bike like he did in Toronto!

Age is just a number. If he's mentally and physically fit, game on. Chad Reed already showed everyone that, and James has more talent than Chad.

I am predicting JS7 will be undefeated the rest of the SX season, win the title after RV1 and Dungey choke, then go on to 24-0...

If I am not mistaken, in 1992, I went to Gainesville MX to watch the Gatorback Nationals and the talk of the day was not all of the pros racing down there. It was of 12 year old Ricky Carmichael that was racing a 65cc bike and had lap times that were 8 seconds off of the 10-5 positioned pros. Now, that was on a 65cc bike. Unfortunately I didnt follow JS's career in the minis, etc, but what he did that day when I saw him out there on Gatorback, was nothing short of amazing and definitely had to have got the GOAT started being potentially referred to as such someday. Until someone officially unseats him and I dont even know how to determine that, he still is.
I read that in Morgan Freeman's voice and it was awesome. (In my head I mean.)

This might be the funniest exchange to ever happen on Vital.

Bummed it was Outsider who said it.

(Although it would've been better with more subtlety, e.g. "Do you want fries with that?")
