The Detroit Round of Monster Energy Supercross on Saturday Moved to FOX Sports 1

AURORA, Ill (March 10, 2014) – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that after an overwhelming amount of customer feedback, the Detroit round of Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, from Ford Field will air on FOX Sports 1 on Saturday, March 15 beginning at 11:30pm ET. FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 will both re-air the night’s Main Events on Sunday at 2pm ET and 9pm ET respectively.

“Any time we have the opportunity to move an event or program to its largest possible audience, we consider it a classic win-win situation,” said Patrick Crakes, SVP Programming, Research, and Content Strategy. “By moving Monster Energy Supercross to FOX Sports 1, the Detroit races are now available to more than 90 million U.S. households, giving more fans an opportunity to tune in to the amazing world class racing.”

Well that a bunch of shit! I feel sorry for the mid west and east coast fans. Gotta stay up until 2:30 am to see the mains? How will this help viewers? We on the west coast will have to stay up untill 11:30. That's pretty freakin late to watch racing. which by the way leaves the only reasonabe option to watch it the next day in SD anyhow! So WTF Feld!

"How will this help viewers?"

I don't have Fox Sports 2 nor do I want to pay $10 because it's still in standard definition on Verizon in Dallas.

Now I do get to watch it. I'll be the "more viewers group." See?

**I'll take that over 1 week delay or waking up at 4am to watch F1 or MXGP (which I do). It's all in perspective. If you want to watch it you will find the time. BTW, the F1 race will also be coming on at 1AM central time so we will be competing with the opening round of F1 that night for the main events.

It helps viewers because half of us don't get FS2. 11:30 on a Saturday is better than 12 AM Monday like in the past.

Better on FS1 a few hours late than live on FS2 where most people can't watch it.

I hear what the people are saying about it needing to be on FX1 but you're right on the money.

AURORA, Ill. (December 30, 2013) – Feld Motor Sports® announced today the long awaited 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, television schedule on FOX Sports and CBS Sport, featuring all races live and special one-hour feature programs.

For the first-time ever, the entire Monster Energy Supercross season airs live on the FOX Sports family of networks. FOX Sports 1 will air 13 races live, including two repeat airings on FOX Sports 2. Additionally, FOX Sports 2 will air four races live, including a repeat airing on FOX Sports 1 on the Sunday following the live race. In addition to the live race coverage, CBS Sports will provide nine hours of network programming including the much anticipated Monster Energy Supercross Special programs.
