Suzuki Australia pulls race team effort

Heard this news yesterday. Any truth to it? Old Mate can you shed any light and what will happen to your boys if so? And if so that's a major blow to the Oz seen and hopefully not the first of many. Skinsey has been doing that gig for 20 years now. What's he going to do? Get a job at Maitland MC on the tools along with Nathan?

I heard that rumour floating around a while back, but I thought it was squashed recently. I know Mossy's been posting alot of pictures of what looks like a fairly factory prepped Suzuki with a big red plate number 1 on it so looks like he'll atleast be on a yellow bike, whether its a factory team is anyones guess i suppose

Spot on. And is old news. Suzuki and all their sponsors are committed to a full year of racing the MX nationals and SX here in Australia.

I'm hoping it's Boppo. Results haven't been stellar so far on a 450 and he has had great opportunity's and equipment but i think the potential to be a race winner is there, atleast outdoors in my opinion.

Either way another factory bike means another rider making a living racing in Australia and that can't be a bad thing.

Seems I heard bad news. Which is good news and good for all the guys who work for the team. I like seeing Suzuki do well as most seem to under estimate the product and I'm a fan. They have come along way since 97 and all the privateers in SX riding bikes and doing well proves it.

Jake has had some good results on a Kawi but fuck I love seeing both on Suzuki.

As long as he gets paid all good.

I will be the first American to post in this thread, and while my opinion doesn't mean shit..........I hope Suzuki does not pull out, the racing in austraila is awesome. I just wish I was able to see more of it on tv. What's marmont....jay doing this season? I worked at KTM when he was here in the states.....always liked the guy.

Hey Travis, Marmont is back on blue for CDR racing. Back where he won 4 titles, cant wait to see how he goes. The little bit I have read he is very happy with the new bike, hope he can regain the speed, he just couldnt get it togeather on green.
