Hey Ezza, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

I also like to hear the bikes, so I tend to avoid slow motion shots and songs that crowd the original sound.

One of my next projects is a two-stroke video, and the plan is to preserve as much as possible the sweet sound of a wide open 2014 250SX.

This happens to me every year too.

I don't feel it yet, usually by Oakland I am ready for outdoors to start, but were really lucky as fans this year to have the SX series were getting... It's been crazy and we only just hit the halfway mark.

But yeah, Outdoors is where it's at...

The West 250 riders are now in full testing mode for the outdoors. Yesterday at Competitive Edge I caught some video of Jason Anderson and Cooper Webb getting ready for the motocross season.

Christophe Pourcel was there with the Yamaha and the Kayaba guys, having signed to run motocross only this year in the 250 class. He was running the Yamaha with no numbers, stock graphics, and wearing the UFO gear.

It's interesting watching Pourcel riding. He seems to alternate between riding at half-speed with short bursts at full intensity. Almost as if he's doing interval training.

Anyone knows if that is the way he usually practices, or if it's just a sign that he is still getting back into the swing of things?
A few years back at STL supercross, I was watching Pourcel a lot during practice, and I only saw him do one or two complete hot laps. He'd cruise a round a lot, blaze a few sections at a time. This will always be burned into my memory, but I remember there was a big double/triple with a right handed 90 with a berm immediately following it (might have been the track Pastrana designed?) but I was watching Pourcel lap after lap, cruising, when he hits the jump, pins it upon landing, and doesn't let off until he's out of the corner, absolutely railing it. I'm honestly surprised he didn't leave a trail of flames behind him. It absolutely blew my mind, it was the fastest I've ever seen anybody ever take a corner ever in the history of all dirtbikeness. Been a fan ever since.
