We've just launched a brand new website and a privateer fundraiser initiative through GoFundMe. We used the responses from our previous post to create an online poll so you can vote for your favorite rider or elect your own!

The goal is to raise $5,000 (or whatever we can reach). 100% of the proceeds will be distributed to the top 10 riders from the poll. This money will help them make it to the East Coast rounds or just continue out the 2014 season. We're hoping everyone will get a little something.

What is a privateer? In your eyes is he completely funded out of his own pocket or racing for on someone bike? Does getting gear or supplies count as being sponsored?

Its hard to draw a clear line in the sand that's why we've allowed people to vote for whoever they like. It's all about making a difference for the underdog you cheer for!

I Would love to vote, but I can't get anything to work when I select my favorite rider. Is there a secret password or more information I need to vote?

Eddie is on it I was on the team back in the day and he and the companies that supported the team helped me out a ton when I was trying to race sx and stuff and I will support it now.

Chris got my vote. He was looking really good in practice earlier. That new bike looks to be suiting him!

Bummer you can't choose more than 1, I would have liked to vote for Cole as well.

Thanks. Chris needs all the support he can get this year. He's doing it the hard way...for sure. But, word from the Pits is that his new bike is still being set-up for him and not ready to race this weekend. So, you are seeing him still on the old bike in Oakland.
