Good time for a Matthes appreciation post.

How much free content does this guy throw out? And it's good stuff.

I listen to every Pulp show, and it makes my commute to work better. I consider the Racer X podcasts as a bonus. The guests, the insights...it's all good.

And throw in the classic podcasts with dudes like RJ and Lechien and it's Gold.

Overall it's cutting edge media and you guys are eating it up!

And cut him a break on sometimes carrying the same tune all week long. When you have a full week between races and a lot of different outlets, it can sometimes get repetitive for all of us, just like it does on SportsCenter after awhile… His off-beat humor is a nice change-up, in my opinion.

I think you need to get him to do on track commentary on TV from the mechanics area during the Nationals.
You had him doing that for a National or maybe 2 back when it was still just a audio webcast.
I thought he did a great job with that - it really stood out and added to the show. He added quite a bit of insight and knew exactly what to ask and report on.
