Does Stewart intentionally kick at RV's bike?

Edited Date/Time 1/20/2014 3:03am

Go to 13:05 of the video. When I watched the race live, it looked like a racing incident when RV went down. After watching the replay though, it looks like James purposely sticks his leg out to either kick at RV's bike or sort of fend it off. I'm not calling it a dirty move, but you can definitely see James stick his leg out when RV's making the pass.

Stewart does a lot of things on a bike better than anyone, sticking his foot in the front wheel of a 60hp motorcycle is not one of them. And I concur with kongols suprisingly.

At full speed it really looked like he kind of kicked his leg out. I was surprised they both didn't go down. I know Stewarts not an idiot and sticking your leg into somebody's moving wheels is an idiot idea. But you're absolutely right and when looking at it in slow motion I was 100% wrong. Whoops

GuyB or Scottie, please feel free to dumbgeon this lol.

If you don't appreciate being called a dumbass or any one of 100 different names once in a while you aren't participating correctly.

Are you intentionally stupid?

Edit: Just now read that you admitted you were wrong. Don't see that very often! Good for you.

He's lucky he didn't get his ankle broken or knee twisted up.
That could be a career ender.
No way James would do that on purpose....

Yeah I saw the way it was twisted in slow mo and when it got stuck in RV's bike it pulled his leg. When RV's bike pulled Stew's leg it sort of looked like a kick to me at real speed, but watching it in slow mo I saw the difference for sure.

The most amazing thing is while Stewarts leg is stuck in RV's front wheel he doesn't let off!

Stewart rarely lets off, except when he enters the corners he lets off a little sometimes and when he gets flung off his bike he lets off a little, usually a little too late, and not until he is in full flying W mode.

There is one thing seriously wrong with what happened.

There is no way that was the Progressive pass of the race, that come a few laps later and included one of those two riders and a different Kawasaki Smile

Though I don't mind Fox continually jumping the gun on the progressive pass of the race, so far it has meant a better pass will be coming in the near future!

Oh one more thing, how is that the progressive PASS of the race when the PASS was NOT made lol.

Now that we got that cleared up...the thing I want to know is was JS wearing a knee brace...and did he have it tethered to the boot.

CTIs and A-Cells have a strap you can tether to your boot to limit external rotation (foot outward). The reason for this is the vast majority of knee injuries involved external rotation in addition to loading. By tethering the knee brace to the boot...you transfer rotation to the hip. There was vid cap showing James with his leg fully pulled out to the side..and all the rotation was transfered to the hip. Sure looked like he was running some sort of knee brace with a tether.... Either that...or he has some damn strong knees...

Stewart was pulling his foot back to his peg while ryans tire was slightly in front of the peg therefore when his foot was back on and he started to pull away from Ryan, ryans wheel came behind the peg and his boot was caught

Wow, we didn't see the leg move from our seats. We saw them come together but we couldn't see his leg get sucked up behind the tire. I thought RV just washed the front end coming into him.

In the stadium interview, James said, "I got my flipper caught up in Ryan's wheel."

Flipper ??
