Spent the weekend at Apache Lake on Labor Day weekend testing out the jetting and other stuff on these fairly new to me Seadoo’s. It’s taking a year for me to get these ski’s working properly so this would be a good test.

Here are some pics.

The desert coves are pretty cool to chill in…..

The rock formations are pretty cool.

This is our campsite and we had our favorite spot. Life was good till the dogs decided to chase a skunk! lol

Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad I suppose. It all worked out in the end, I hope Mojo learned her lesson—but I doubt it.

951cc of Rotary-Valved two-stroke power just begging to go for a spin.

When it’s 110 out here in “SUNNY” AZ this is where I like to be.

You can almost picture Apache Indians in these picturesque cliff dwellings from back in the day.

There’s nothing like a sunset ride heading back—fortunately we were headed the opposite direction.

That’s all folks, hope you enjoyed the AZ scenery. As you can tell it’s a dry dusty desert so don’t move here…..

Awesome.

We just got back from vacationing in Sedona a few weeks ago. It was marvelous, and a great change from flat, wet, humid Florida. Love that place.

Great Pics Gman. Looks like a bitchen place.

Hey how much does a boat like one of those go for new? Not that I could ever afford one I was just wondering. Id imagine you could pull a skier behind a big one or at least a few petite women on a tube. Wink

Thanks guys.

Dougie,

Did you not see my last thread that had this Seadoo for sale with double trailer $2K 1997 GSX 800 Excellent condition Runs great Note: I am the original owner. Seadoo has been been meticulously maintained, and garaged.

The trailer for sale has been in backyard for 3 yrs and needs a days work of TLC (new running boards etc.) I ended up giving it away for $1800 with trailer..... Hated to see it go--she was good to me for 11 yrs! Still had the original top-end and the compression was still fine.

You can check craigs list and the boat trader for some, usually in the winter you can find them cheaper. I've had five Seadoo's and these 98's were the first used ones I bought. They required some work to get them up to snuff. If you are serious about buying one let me know I have some good info on what to look for.

az2u,

Not sure but Canyon Lake has petrified tree trunks laid down flat that are imbedded in the rock cliffs--it's pretty impressive to see. I've never seen the Petrographs. Was it on the Dolly cruise?
