I'd never seen so many big names sit and size it up for so long as that one. On the first lap or so i remember RV over jumping that table after it and landed in a foot deep square edged hole straight from the air and never let off the throttle! It would have ripped a mere mortal straight off the bike. That downhill beside that was pretty fun to watch too, lots of big whips.

I thought Glen Helen was "pure" moto. The only "pure" moto left....Meaning NATURAL. Because any track that's man made sucks....

Is it really that tough to differentiate a track built in a valley and on the surrounding hills vs a track built on the infield of a speedway or lakebed?
