jesus christ americans r still talking about last years des nations ! big fucking whoop u wanna talk about it how about we talk about the 2006 des nations wher u didnt win a moto. The Only reason u won it overall was because u can field a strong 3 man team wher as all the other teams normally have a weak link. You americans are forever going on about having the fastest riders when u no for yourselves its not always about being the fastest. Everts and Cairoli won the motos but u guys took the overall because on the day u were better BUT NOT FASTER !!!!!!

It could be held one year in the Europe (sponsored by Red Bull), one in year in the US (sponsored by Monster). Put the best 2 riders (those who finished the highest in the season) for each manufacturer racing in the World GP and in the Nationals/ Supercross (you add the point the riders get in SX and the Nats and pick the best 2 riders OA for manufacturer) and 1 each for manufacturer coming from the Canadian Nationals and the Australian Nationals+ Supercross (the selection process would the same as for racers competing in the US). Total number of riders per class: 30.

For example, the MX1 would field:

- KTM: Jonathan Barragan, Max Nagl, Nick Wey, Matt Goerke, + rider racing in the Canadian Nationals + rider racing in Australia/ NZ;

- Honda: Marc De Reuver, Billy Mackenzie, David Millsaps, Andrew Short, Kyle Keast + rider racing in Australia/ NZ;

Kawasaki: Tim Ferry, Dusty Klatt, Tanel Leok, Sebastien Pourcel, James Stewart + rider racing in Australia/ NZ;

Suzuki: Mike Alessi, Michael Byrne, Ken De Dycker, Steve Ramon, Tyler Medaglia + rider racing in Australia/ NZ

Yamaha: Josh Coppins, Colton Faciotti, Josh Hill, David Philappaerts, Josh Summey + rider racing in Australia/ NZ;

What do you think?

Damn Gio, I guess anything can happen. I can't even justify a STFU... Interesting idea. I just think it should be based on their order of finish (either combined SX/MX or just MX since that is what it is). As for the GP selections, based on the same thing.

Politics would always come into play. That's why this wouldn't happen... unless they figure out how to make money with it. I don't think splitting the title sponsorship would work though. I think any company that would want to sponsor this would need to be international and should cover both Europe and US. That would be an easier sell I think.

- The reason for which in Australia and the US you would pick the best riders taking in account their points in both SX and MX is that the riders and the teams would be motivated to run both series.

- As for the title sponsor, I picked the 2 main energy drinks because they put a lot of money in their respective Continents. But I am aware that Red Bull is the title sponsor of the MXdN.

- Politics would indeed come into play, I am afraid. I have a blog (I know, I know, everybody has one these day...and I haven't updated in a while) and I wrote right about this topic last month

And most importantly, why do they think they have anyone that will be anywhere near RV and JBS? Especially on a SX'ish style track. This could be a worst beating for them than last year.
That's only one race, not an entire season in different country's all over the world if he raced GP's he would not dominate the way he does at home.

Not really seeing he has scored in a few nationals this year but wouldn't qualify for a GP don't say much for your championship.

I'd rather moto matter more, or be the only one that counts. Plus, would a rider be motivated to ride if he didnt want to race outdoors? Sure, Reed, but he doesnt count.

As for the energy drink/sponsors, I think the "series" would need to be sold as a package. Just a marketing thing.
