Don't need to...the facts are that simple. The most pristegious championship in MX is here. RV and ET won those easily over multi time world champions. And that is a trend that has gone on for many many years. A couple years ago it was Roczen who we were talking about. Tomac put such a beating on that guy this year it was funny. Kenny "my shoulders were tired and tender" Roczen hahahaha.
Until Herlings comes, races the best in the world and beats them over a whole series then you are just bench racing about how good he is...just like you did w Roczen.
And the MXdN is a on off team race...not about individual results. Im pretty sure America has quite a few more MXdN wins than any other country wich strengthens my point even more.
How someone can even argue that is just stupid. It would be like arguing Ben Spies was the best road racer without even going to race Moto GP.

I like Roczen. Im not bagging on him, if it wasn't for Tomac he would have won that title. And "my shoulders were tired and tender" is a quote from Kenny him self! But he stood no chance against Tomac weather he crashed or not...Tomac worked harder, rode faster, was more determined and took the wind from Kenny sails. Tomac dominated that championship hands down!
My point though is these Euros always have some guy that they think is the hero that's faster than the Americans. But when they show up and race a full series it aint the case. Before Herlings it was Roczen, then it was Musquin...the list goes on and on.
If Herlings comes over here he will not win, he probably knows that and chooses to stay home.
The OP asked who is truly the best...its not a question. Its been proven over and over.

You really believe that? Did you not see the last 5 nationals? Now your rankings in the first post make sense.

roczen was goona win that moto & maybe tomac wouldve tooken the points from the next round but if you really look at it , tomac really didnt catch fire till half way thru the series , the way i imagined it , they were going to swap the points lead every moto till the final moto of elsinore , thats the way i looked at it , also you can look at it from a point where roczen he blazes thru the pack to get to the lead early while tomac was more like baggett waited untill a certain point of the race to really turn up the heat & by then roczen would have a comfortable lead

And why wouldnt Herlings win? Musquin has 3 overalls in the past two years and Roczen won 8 motos and crashed out of another couple moto wins last year alone.

yea but Herlings lost the 2nd moto to AC. RV won both motos on a 250F and lapped your MX2 champion in both. Impressive rides for both for sure. Oh and by the way, Herlings was 19 last year at the time of the MXoN last year, just like RV in '07.

AC crashed out of 1 race and DNF'd and broke his wheels up in the other Moto, but made it to the finish

RV was faster than anyone that day,AC wasn't going beat him,but he had a nitemare of a weekend allround, the big showdown sadly never came to be,shame on his team not getting the bikes there until late due to trying to smuggle cheese of all things,a win's a win,but would AC get lapped straight up without the problems??

AC had the next fastest laptime that day too, actually a bit faster than RC

Herlings was 18 btw and I mention beating top competition like Roczen by nearly 2 mins and Baggett by over 2.27 because they didn't DNF or crash etc,and to highlight how dominant he was there

Ps I never said Herlings beat AC in the 3rd Moto, just how they demolished some big names

Listen, Herlings is a stud. The kid flat out rips and he would do very well anywhere he raced and that is undeniable. those who say different obviously have never seen him, but his performance last year was not as dominant as RV's in '07. It simply can't be due to the fact that he didnt even win his 2nd moto. The part about crashing and DNF'ing is nothing but excuses. Dungey and Bagget both crashed last year. Barcia crashed and destroyed his wheel. He very likely would have been on the podium in that moto had he not made that mistake. Mistakes, crashing and DNF'ing are part of Motocross. As far as I am concerned, once you line on the gate and as long as that gate drops at the same time, the only thing that matters is where you are when the checker flag waves. Everything else is racing and excuses for the Vital hot stove league. If you're going to use crashes, lap times, dnf's, bike problem's, bad gate picks, girlfriends, age, etc... as reasons(excuses) at least be consistent and use them for both sides. So when you say AC blah blah blah, what if, if only, maybe, say the same about Dungey last year and Barcia in his first moto. You can't use reasons for one side and not offer them up as reasons for the other if you want to have a valid debate.
DNFs are part of racing for sure, but not a match of speed, this is about who's the fastest, you cant compare that with one guy is sat in the paddock, and for a racer,a win Vs a DNF is a Hollow victiory, that's why I never mentioned Barcia wheel as we can't tell what he had that Moto,

Deep down ANY racer would prefer to beat an opponent straight up rather than the other guy's bike explode or go cartwheeling over a haybale around the 1st turn, but they duly take the win,it happens

As for the most dominant or who's MXdN is better, that can and will be argued endlessly,RV won both his Motos,JH fell short in his 2nd Moto,

RV won Motos by 15 secs where the competition was strong,he put a minute over some great riders, and then won by over a minute, although the feild wash't so tough, but all incredibly on a 250

JH won a Moto by a minute against some great competitionl, lapping upto 5th place, then had a 2nd after crashing on the 1st turn, starting dead last, passing 38 riders to finish right behind the leader, against strong competition

Personally to claw his way back onto AC's back wheel,of all people,on a track that brutal, going back to back Motos, after a huge win,,and with the depth of talent he blew by which was extremely deep, after a huge win,I feel I witnessed the best riders overall perrormancee ever at a MXdN,that"s my opinion, you have yours

Both were incredible rides, and probably won't be replicated ever again

He was dominating both motos at Budds creek MXON when he was 19 after winning his 2nd 250f title. He also won his first 250f title the year before, '06 and went 1-1(2-3 o/a) in the MX2 class in England at the MXoN, only being beaten by AC in the first moto and Everts and JS in the 2nd.....

The Budds Creek performance was pretty incredible but so was Herlings' performance at last years mxon.
I dont really wanna say which one is better^^ maybe Herlings would be with some better competition in his class

And I just let you know where RV was. RV went 1-1 at Budds MXON on a 250F at the age of 19(just turned 19 in August) so you can compare that to JH's 1-2 on a 350 on his home track. RV won his first moto by 1.05 seconds while Heirlings won by .55 sec's in the one moto that he did win......
is it really a difference if you win 65 or 55 seconds ahead?! pretty sure both of them could have had an even bigger lead but why push it to the end when you have one more moto upcoming lol
And you do know that Herlings crashed the start in that second moto and injured his shoulder and still got back to second (right behind AC)?

Langston and Albertyn are South African Smile

I think herlings would win outdoors in the states if he went over- if he got through supercross without injury. That's what the 'euros' seem to struggle with the most! albertyn had some huge yardsales in supercross! and tortelli never really took to supercross either (even though he did win his first ever supercross race) - he was the only rider to really trouble RC outdoors, even faster than him at times. Its a shame there aren't any good outdoors only rides, be great to see a few more gp riders go stateside and do outdoors only

Tomac- 25 25 25- 1- 20 25 22 15 25 183 - 5 wins

And if he didn't crash in round 4 while leading most of the race it would have been 6 wins MY logic is explainedWhistling

Without his crash in round 4 AND roczens dnq in SLC (ET still scored a point):
Tomac would have won round 4 while Roczen would have probably won SLC and put tomac one spot further back

Roczen 22 22 22 22 25 22 25 25 22 - 207
Tomac 25 25 25 25 20 25 22 14 25 - 206

Wink And who cares about wins, consistency owns

How would've Roczen won SLC? he couldn't even win his qualifer ...

he couln't the win the LCQ but he's going to win the Main lol

if Eli would have won round 4 he would have won round 5 he hit head hard and hurt his neck in that crash.

But if your woman had balls she'd be your man.... lol

Ok Buttinski # 2 you need to read all of the threads before you post?

You don't even know what the argument was about???

Stewie said Kenny would have won the oudoors championship if he would not have crash at milville.

So I said Kenny wouldn't have won the lites supercross championship if tomac wouldn't have crashed in Round 4......

Then The Buttinski #1 Park Girl. said.

So your saying in a short series were Roczen spotted Tomac an extra race, that the reason Tomac lost is because of a crash? Explain your logic and dont bash a rider with more talent in his finger than your entire family.....

Tomac spotted kenny a whole race first so i explained my logic.....

Then you came in with your post............

Who cares about wins?

EVERYONE, The Rider's . the manufactures, the team's, the fan's.

Kenny deserved to win the Lites Supercross Championship.

Eli derserved to win the out MX Champioship.

And it is about consistency that's why they are both 2013 champions.
