What about Ferry or ..........

Well what about ferry?
8/24/2008 1:28pm
Rather see them hang it out for 30 plus two than come limping home the last 15 minutes.

30+2 is plenty tough and keep's it fast. They have another series for longer moto's but no one can watch them in the singletrack through the trees.

ZZZZZZZZZZ

Keep it 30.

Good start? was outside the top ten I think. Looks like he rode awesome. Passed several very good riders to get into third.

He needs a better start in moto 2 , sure he came from 10th to 3rd but with the heat and humidity he will need a better start to get back up to 3rd in moto 2 and 2nd is for sure not out of reach.

He what about Bubba ? Fastest sand rider ever ?
No idea... Bubba should win a race on a sand track before you can say something like that Wink

Euro conditioning is not at the level of the US riders. We race and train in 100 degree temps with 90% humidity. They don't have that type of weather for 4 months straight over there. Not Marcs fault. He did a great job and I hope he comes back next year.

i'm just sick of hearing that these guys can beat us. none of their lights or big bike guys can run the US pace for both motos.

the Des Nations will once again prove how much better our American riders are.

Noone ever said that this guy was going to beat your riders. Marc just came to the states to have fun. We were hoping for a top 5 finish and a podium would be excellent. It was not to be.. bummer. But i think we all had a good time..

maybe you're not saying it, but a bunch of morons come on here saying AC and other GP riders can beat our guys and it's just comical.

i saw the des nations and it was pretty crazy how bad all the euro guys got beat.

and this year everyone will say AC is hurt and he would've killed Villopoto. it never ends.

Marc proved 1 thing: you only have two great riders, JS & RV, and the can be beaten. And De Reuver is not a regular winner in the GP's, there are even fasters guys... Hamblin is cuurently running sixth, most races he couldn't even qualify in the GP's....

@ VET954: I hope he doesn't go back to the USA ever. The only thing he gets is alot of bullshit...

Yeah, it was great to have him. Hopefully the few Euros on this board who run their mouth all the time about how the Nationals don't have a deep field will finally eat crow. Marc is the best sand rider over there and was no more 3rd best when the track was smooth and was staying put in 8th once our "smooth" sand track finally got rough.

And before you few start saying it wasn't a real sand track, even marc said himself it was much deeper than people were telling him. Not as deep as some but sand none the less. Hopefully him and others will continue to come over more often in the future.

what about Short? Marc started the second moto in 8th [stayed in 8th], crashed and pulled off so what did that prove?

he had ONE good moto, wow.

Dungey, Grant & Stroupe would smoke your lights guys

Alessi, Windam & Millsaps would ruin your Euro guys, too.

He came over from Europe just to race 1 national for fun. Then he is second in practice behind JS, gets 3rd after a not so good start in the first race and all he gets is bullshit, even from the commentators, what a bunch of bad losers you guys are.

For an example, look at race two, Dowd 5th, Hamblin 6th WOW, your level is really high.

Like I siad, I hope he doesn't go back to the US ever, het diserves much more.

You seem a bit bitter....STOP CRYING LIKE A LITTLE FAGGOT!

Marc did well today and should be proud.

Marc proved he has the speed to run up toward the front.

However it looks like the heat and humidity played a major roll in todays race.

I hope he does come back and race here, but before that i hope he comes back and trains with James, that would be great.

THE GUY IS ONE OF THE BEST MX RACERS IN THE WORLD -and he proved that today!
