but no one considers Kevin the best in the world. Rite now, Jeff isnt anything more than an MX2 world title holder, mxdn
winner, and foul mouth punk. Very sad anyone holds anyone else in a higher regard because they can wring the throttle on

It's funny that you immediately discredit the GP's then go on to say there's no way to know until there's a "true series". Seemingly just because of how easily Herlings is beating everyone, but the same could have been said about RC and JS's perfect seasons. Hopefully after September you will see past your bias eyes and have no excuses.

herlings is riding great this year, im a bit disappointed that he's not moving up to mx1 as i would like to see him vs cairoli but obviously ktm dont agree!!! should be a good bet for the mx2 title again next year!!!

he will probably move up when he's a bit older like everyone else does! he's only 18- its very unusual for anyone to be racing mx1/ 450 class at 18..

how old was RV when he moved up? 21? was he sandbagging staying on the 250 to win a few titles before going 450?

The best thing about Chad Reed was that when he came over he was pissed he had to ride in the 125 class. He wanted to go right to the big bike class. That is why he is a bad MOFO. As for Herlings, there is no doubt he is also a bad dude, but the indisputable reality is that for him to be considered the best on planet earth, he has to come over, win at both sx and mx. Everts didn't do it, and Tony didn't do it, and that is too bad. This is why Kenny has proven to be the superior rider, because he had the sack to come over and take on this challenge, like Rattray, Townley, Pourcel, and a few others.

There can be no doubt however that if Herlings came stateside, he would move to the front of the class in short order and would be an excellent sx rider. The guy can ride a scooter.

you guys are sitting behind your keyboards and talking... you have no clue what its like to leave your country, friends, family and everything behind and race in another country.
Big props to the guys that do it and take on the whole shitstorm that comes along with going overseas, but you cant expect every fast rider to come over just to try and prove himself as the best...
btw Herlings never claimed to be the best (for saying he is the best sandrider he needs no racing over in the us obviously since he lapped the man that was called fastest man on the planet on a 250 last year

You'd better get used to it, it's always been like this on here and probably won't change unless the two series merge...

One rule of thumb is to try not to post anything provocative. In other words, take note of the posts MXMatti and 500guy make and do exactly the opposite, and try not to rise to the bullshit that gets written. Both 'sides' are as guilty as the other.
