Help With Fork Caps

I just bought an 02 KX250 and the forks have the stickers on them like they were revalved by Pro Circuit. It also has some different fork caps on it though and so far I have been unsuccessful at finding the tool to remove them.

From searching around I believe they are the Pro Circuit works fork caps, which don't seem to be offered any longer. If anyone has any ideas on where I can find the tool for them that would help me out immensely. Thank you.

Go any parts web site that sells Motion Pro tools and I believe you will find the tool your looking for.

I believe you guys are referring to this tool designed for newer twin chamber forks...

That tool is actually octagonal, whereas the one I need is hexagonal. I ended up finding a nut that was pretty close and had to do a little grinding to it. So far it seems to be working pretty well.

Go on Race Tech's site, look under parts for your dirt bike. It will show you also the tools you need to work on your forks, regardless if you buy their tool or not.
I have one, if you want to see a photo I can post one Monday.

Those are A-Kit forks. PC should have the tool for you, you probably have to call.

Or, faster yet... Go to a local welding shop that has a cnc plasma. They could make the tool for ya in about 10 minutes :-)

DJFMX, who's doing your fork tubes gold? I was going to send mine out to TCR for a deeper/factory looking gold for my 94 KX250.
