but be ready to wear holes in your riding pants and get used to replacing your shroud graphics and seat covers.

Ive had 2 sets since 2004 and love them. About to buy the Ultra Cells and see how they compare to the OG cells.

Asterisk is great about spare parts (laces, pads etc) all you need to do is call.

If you dont rebuild them every 2 years(depending how much you ride), things get loose and the carbon fiber get ruined and you need to replace them. The rebuild cost is reasonable and again, the service is great. Just pick up the phone.

If you wear holes in your pants get some leather lotion and put it on the inside and outside of the knee leather after you wash the pants. The leather gets dry and hard and thats when the holes start to develop.

Lastly, they put a lot back into the sport, you may have seen the semi with the xray equipment at the races that they sponsor.

Braces are all priced similarly, why not buy from a company that puts some of your money back into racing.

Edit: Their maintenance service pricing isn't too bad. Had all my braces repaired.

I have an asterisk on my left and a custom CTi on my right. Not quite as good as the CTi, but comparable....
