I bought this bike from a store that was with this bike in the window as exposure for your clients and nobody was riding it, I rode 20 hours and rebuild the engine to not break down anything special part, have the name of J-law marked under the triple cample and like any racing factory bike it never had the vin number on the frame, this bike have all special parts, the cams have a special numbers on, the FMF exhaust is different , the carburetor have a lot of working, the crankshaft and the head have a special working too, the KYB 50mm nobody have it on any bike here, the bike now have only 3.4 hours

Dude, Are you from this country cause your spelling is terrible!

The forks were leased from Enzo and probably not returned, if you took them to Enzo for service they probably wouldn't give them back, in other words there probably HOT! and there not factory units, and the Vin number must have been filed off because the frames have to be stock to race AMA events. Yamaha ran GYRT parts on all there bikes as well as there satellite team bikes, which you can buy from any dealer , we ( Wonder Warthog) ran that crank and forks on Jacob Saylors bike back in 07. there is nothing that special
about this bike... I'll give $4000

Goddamn, you guys need to round up all the OEM's and just go confiscate those 50 plus works bikes that Terry Good has stashed in his basement. You know, all those bikes that were "destroyed". LMAO. There are works parts available all over the place. Heck, I have a $10,000.00 RC125 crank here that I picked up for about a hundred bucks. But those forks are worth $80,000.00.....

I'm just trying to sell them both so I can get new bikes for next year and with kit suspension the star bike for 10g and then MC for 7. I'd sell them each with out A kit so I can keep using it as well that would drop the price some.

Very well said Tarz! and to the idiots criticizing his typing skills, it tells more about themselves not able to realize that English is his 2nd language than it does him...i mean seriously...Blink

..and Bernado, you have handled yourself very well in this thread, really dig the bike, i liked checking out the pic of the crank. Shoot me an email when you have a minute ocscottie@hotmail.com

Couple of bikes I picked up, 447 Deven Raper, the 447 was raced in a couple of SX's and a National or few. The 198 was Jacob Saylors practice bike, it had 80 hours on it. revalved suspension and a few nice parts but was pretty much stock. I had to take it back to Enzo so they could remove the trick suspension parts... I also had a couple of yz250f's Adam Chatfield
and Chris Blose...all these bikes ended up being great desert bikes...

50mm inverted forks were readily available to the public as far back as 1982. Makes me wonder why it took 30 years to be considered great works forks?

Anyone remember the bell bottom KYBs Yamaha was running? Trying to manage flex without binding. I still think that a conventional fork desing kicks ass over the inverts. All that time Suzuki spent trying to get McGrath a good 50mm conventional setup on the 97 , what if they would have just went with a 55mm tube?

sorry, frenchie may well have destroyed all of the 50mm kayaba stuff yamaha had but i bought 9 sets of these same works forks from a team who bought them direct from kayaba,i got the whole lot with with clamps and lots of spare seals, bushes and springs-they looked exactly the same as the ones on this lawrence bike with cast lugs on the bottom, actually kept 1 pair in case i get a "project" to use them on with a set of CR22's old works triple clamps to fit em in.
