His season so far is going from bad to worse two bad finishes again today when is he going to score some points? Whats he struggling with is the field deeper than he thought or the tracks are just not for him? Any thoughts
Really do hope it improves for him though, he seems like a cool guy. One can't overstate how hard it must be stepping into a new series, cultures, new "everything" really... in this way.

But this "decline" with Jimmy, were some of us felt he would be a top ten guy right away, maybe even a top five midstream for podiums in the end, is a bit too much to come back from? It's not over until that fat bitch sings, but would be strange to see him rise from the ashes...
He's a great kid.....but lets call a spade a spade here. We heard dudes on here say he was good for top 10's , top 5's and could possibly be sniffing the box? THAT made me laugh when I read it. Why?.....because I knew what he was capable of over here. Over there......I was expecting him to do a little worse than here just like any rider when they first cross the pond......which is exactly where he is finishing.
The team he is riding for basically just needed a rider on the bike. Jimmy was available. It gave him some life / racing experience. Even though his finishes haven't been great , I'm sure he'll remember it in a some what positive note for the rest of his life.
Damn. I wish the guy to succeed. But motocross is not LIFE.
Combine that with going from the familiar and comfortable front end feel of the Honda CRF geometry to the rear steering Kawi, that probably took a huge hit to his confidence more than his overall speed. Even if he got comfortable on the PC bike with the testing he did, I'm sure he wouldn't disagree in saying it's totally different than what he is used to. Similar situation with Reed not being able to gel with the Kawi.
Both of those difficulties added together = poor riding and results, throw in unrealistic expectations from fan and teams and you have an unfortunately short stint between a great team and a great rider.
That is just my take. Hope to see Jimmy D at the last Southwick race, even on a scrapper.
Pit Row
Scored in thirteen of his last twenty-eight AMA National moto's - 46%
Probably the best scenario for both parties.
