If you've forgotten what it's like to watch someone race for the shear love of motocross, you need to watch this kid. He raced last weekend at the ranch for the regional and he was awesome. He did get the holeshot and he did crash but he was back up and racing. Mind you he's paralyzed from the waist down, but he's good and his goal is to get into Lorettas end of July. But he is awesome to watch race and see a smile while he's doing it.

I raced the Tomahawk LLQ this year and lined up next to him in a support class. Really nice guy, I went and got one of his autographed posters afterwards. He was there hanging out with the Alex Frye family, who are super nice and Alex is super fast and already riding for KTM.

picked him up after a few crashes a few years back. kids got drive, hope he goes on to do great things. very nice kid.

We have been fortunate to have raced with him 3-4 times over the past few years. Lake Sugartree held a "ride a lap with Darius" event for downed riders and had 50 or so of us were able go out and ride with him. He is a huge inspiration to any who have faced difficult situations.

I hadn't heard his story or knew anything about this until now. Pardon the positive post on Vital, but that is incredible and really inspirational! I can only imagine the amount of throttle / brake control he has.
