Sebastian's Monaco Helmet

And heat activated color changing paint for the girl's swimsuit makes it disappear during the race. Pretty freakin trick.

Or do Pepe jeans and Red Bull pay for them .After all look at all the publicity pics that get taken of them.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Seb is supplied the helmets by his sponsor and he is personally sponsored by Jens as is Felipe, Nico, Mark, and Fernando. and so are all of the Red Bull development drivers, at least the ones that dont use Bell helmets. Bell has its own european helmet painting division.
Seb generally gets a new helmet for each GP but not all the time, Jens has more than just one customer. Once Seb wins a GP in a particular helmet it is then retired to his personal collection (I can only imagine what that must look like with all those 1st place trophies and helmets) This Monaco helmet marks over 50+ that JMD has done for Seb since he was 18.
here is Jason Fowler's lid for Lewis and Paul.
I'd still like to know how they got that print on the crown of Seb's helmet. There's just so much detail you can get with an air-brush. That's clearly a photograph transfer but I've been out of the helmet painting business for a while. Really interested to know how it was done.
Great work.
How do you know so much about helmets Seth? Are you in the industry?
Its been something that Ive followed since I was in 3rd grade starting with Tony Stewart in sprint cars and MC in SX.
my favorite painters in no order are...
Air Trix (USA)
Jens Munser Designs (Germany)
Koop Kustoms (Netherlands)
Antman Helmet Design (Australia)
Helmart Helmet Design (New Zealand)
Pit Row
NOTHING COOLER!!
Any insight as to how they transfer the photo onto the helmet?
With Seb's helmet, that's clearly a photograph and not handwork or airbrush.
All the other stuff can be done using traditional methods...albeit not traditional paint. haha
* one of them had just sold for £14 Mill.
It is just another item on the long list of why i bleed RedBull
Cool helmet though
