I have zero in the info department, but, I would never have guessed James and Kawi would separate. I know every rider does, it just seemed weird. I think the freedom of outside sponsorship is how you make most of your coin. And you don't want anyone telling you who you can or can not work for.

Does anyone stay with one team anymore? I guess all pro athletes enjoy the denefits of free agency, but I'd like to see someone besides Pastrana have some loyality to one team.

Its was an amicable split between the two. Kawi didn't make much of an attempt to keep Stewart, and Stewart wanted a change. RV is the future for Kawi, Stewart is on his way out.

IF JGR offered him a contract, politics and L&Ms special treatment would have gotten in the way.
Why do you say that ?

Ill just say that L&M gets a lot better treatment then any other Yamaha support team.
