Did ya notice that in the two pictures the silencer is different? Maybe the picture with the bike in the back of the truck was when he bought it new, but something smells fishy around this ad. Probably financed through Honda and new owner won't be getting a title.
It's a prank. Not to trick you, but to mess with "Derrick." Nothing like putting your friends bike on Craigslist at a "too good to be true" price and laughing while his phone blows up.
Oh man, I would be so pissed if someone prank me like that. But yeah, it's obviously a prank. Was tempting to call just to hear what is recorded message might be.
The best one is say a new iPhone for $50 cause your wife doesn't want it! Then say only text "are you available to talk" and I will return your call! Do it in a city area and your friends phone will explode!

Yup. I've been guilty of posting a buddy's truck on craigslist. Turns out his daughter was sick that day and he was waiting for the doctor to call but the only people calling were people interested in his truck. Didn't intentionally do it on a day his daughter was sick but thought it was funny he was forced to answer the phone.
Haha i did this to a friend once, except he was a recovering alcoholic giving away his margarita machine. He had to shut his phone off for a good part of 2 days. Classic

This is getting popular, I cruise the 'list" for MX'ers, and have called on several lately....only to hear the guy's friends laughing in the background....instant classic!
A few years ago, when the DaVinci Code book was all the hype. I think the second book, had some type of code that you had to figure out as you read along in the book. In the end, the code was 10 digits. The first 20 people to call that number received free autographed copies of the book. By the time a couple buddies figured out the code, the mailbox was full and the books had been given away. Just for shits and giggles my friend put in the last for digits of the phone number and was granted access to all the voicemails that had been left on the phone. He then proceeded to change the voicemail box message to something along the lines of "You have reached the voicemail box of Salomon yadda yadda... my mailbox is full but you can reach me on my assistants phone Brandon Seans the number is 740. 550. 1234. Thank you have a nice day"
He had no idea what the hell was going on. For weeks he received phone calls from people all over the place. Even the official twitter page for the book was tweeting about it.
And by the way. I didn't put his real name and number in the this post.
Surprised how nice the truck looked to be sporting a smoke stack like that. Isn't it a prerequisite to have confederate flag or a Calvin peeing sticker on your truck to have a smoke stack like that?
