Just wondering who is going, besides me, Scott Kandel, Nick DeVillo and Dave Kimmey? As I was upgrading our seats just now on US Airways ($45 extra for an aisle seat...fuckers!) I had to laugh at the irony of it...That Fat Bastard is still getting the last laugh! I can picture that tight-lipped grin he would get when he was REALLY pleased with himself for something he wrote, or some shit he pulled...he looked like a cat that just ate the canary.

Nothing would please Bruhn's Andy Kaufman-side than to know that we're flying seven hours to Atlanta, only to then drive another four hours to Ozark, Alabama, to pay our respects to our great friend. And the fact that we're flying with US Air, a company he worked at for years, is just icing on the cake!

You know, I can think of a dozen reasons why I shouldn't make this trip; Can't afford it; Had to ask for time off on a new project where I was hired to cover for another guy; I'm sick as hell; It's a logistical nightmare; Have to leave right after the service so I can make the 4 hour drive back to Atlanta to make my flight, so I can work the next day, etc, etc, etc

But I only need one reason to forget the bullshit and go...TFS was my friend, and a most excellent friend at that.

And that's good enough for me.

I hope to see some of you there!

Your silence is deafening. So I guess it'll just be me and Kimmey, since pussy-whipped Scott flaked out on me at the last second. I hope a lot of people show up, but I guess since the service is in Bumfuck, Egypt, people have an excuse to skip it. I think Bruhn deserves better than that, but that's just me.

Right on steve. Wish I was going too...better yet a road trip with all of us would be TFS epic like I do believe. Be safe and raise a glass for TFS for me.

Good on you Steve. Make the trip. You'll be glad you did.

I'm in Alabama, about three and a half hours away. I can't make the trip due to work obligations. I was never that close to Bruhn or I'd probably be more inclined to make the trip. My condolences to the family and all those who were close to Steve. He obviously touched a lot of lives and made a lot of friends while here.

The whole DeVillo family will be there. Steve, if you and Dave want to grab a bite and gossip and says bad things about our friend (exactly like he would expect us to), we are in! Dave I don't have your number for some reason, so I PM'd you mine. Nick

I think there just might actually be two horses in this town.

Lumpy from MotoHose is coming, he's about an hour out as I write this.

Not sure if I will stay for the entire service at 11am, not comfortable with these things, but I will go to the viewing and pay my respects.

OMFG, what passes for a news program in this town is fucking scary.

I know you, Bruhn, you're laughing your ass off for making everyone come to BFE, Alafuckinbama.

All part of his evil plan.
