Hi gang. Been racein and wrenchin for years but the modern 4 strokes are very new to me. I have a 2008 with less then 10 hours time on it. If you snap the throttle off idle it will stall but is fine if the throttle is already cracked a bit then you pin it. If moving along you get a lull then it rips. Also the idle will hang high for a few seconds then settle down nicely. Bike has sat most of its life so in doing a carb clean I saw nothing and all jets were clear. Any thoughts on what to look for?
Accelerator pump rubber go bad maybe from sitting in old gas? Valves? Plug? Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Is it an F or R? Classic symptom of CRF150R. Try putting in a 48 pilot. Cured my 08. I know, that is way richer than stock, but it works.

Here's a good discussion about it. The R and D float bowl with the adjustable leak jet is almost a must. Without this you at least need to go smaller with your leak jet, wire your acc. pump linkage together, and 42 pilot

A 45 pilot and fuel screw 2 turns out cured the off idle bog on our 150R.
