Compared against 450's. They should be legal in the 250 class for this exact reason. Proven worldwide it works, MX Sports should sack up and make the 250 two strokes legal to race against 250F's.

Goes back to the folks in SOCAL and day jobs discussion. It is Thursday, they are all packing for SLC because that is their job. But you were still at the track... LOL. Being a home dad has to be cool! You just have to convince the kids racing is as good as religion so you are a hero every day at PALA!! My kids.. (despite my best efforts) still get bored after Dianna starts dashing off the track at the start. Perverts.

I don't care who he rides for so long as he is riding.

The one thing I do find interesting is the amount of times lately the he has been seen (photographed) on another manufacturers bike. Also posting a couple of pics of his family on a different manufacturer.

As a business owner myself, I know I would be disappointed in seeing a person I supported being captured alot with another brand and openly allowing it.

If he is to change which once again I really don't mind. I like him, not what he is riding. But for him as team owner this is an area of opportunity that could be better developed. If he is thinking long term team owner.

I am sure there is still plenty of fight left in the old dog yet. In his 30's and people calling him old. He would smoke me anyday of the week.

Just about every piture is better then I see in the magazines. Great job. How did Cooper Webb look ? I would like to see his speed compared to the top pro's because I think he has just as much as anybody. Well,maybe not Baggett.Smile

Very valid points. Getting Tate a PW50 was one of those things I don't think Honda could get upset about, they don't make a 50 on the same level. Posting pictures on social media forums hanging out in the pits of the competing manufacturer may be a bit of conflict of interest for Honda. I realize Reed owns his own team and all that, but I still think it says something.

If Reed is thinking long term and he started his career (in the states) with Yamaha, don't you think he would like to ride a Yamaha into retirement? It would be saying a lot for Yamaha to put out a new 450 and have Reed riding it.

Oh I guess their work week starts on Thursday and ends on Sunday when they get home. I actually don't have any kids so it's even cooler! (Although I would like to some day) But school is about to start back up so I get to go back to Missouri and get to say goodbye to my California motocross vacation right when all the pros are starting to shred the track I always go to. We were thinking about buying one of those mountains that surrounds Pala to build a house but we'll have to ask the owners.

PS I was out at Pala yesterday, #821 on a 2013 Yamaha Yz450
I was there too. Probably the only person there wearing baggie (stiffie) gear on a yz 250 with white fenders #8. Do you happen to have a blue shoei helmet? The only yz 450 guy I can think of had a blue shoei on and I don't remember the number.

Oh darn it! I didn't spend much time on the main track because I'm too chicken to hit all the big jumps. I'm just getting back into it so I usually stick to the vet track. You looked good out there though.
