Thanks reded. It took me 40 years, but I finally figured out that you don't sell the good ones. Now if I can can just track down a nice '87 CR250, '89 KX250 and '84 RM250 to replace the ones I brain farted and sold.
My 04 is the first bike I've owned long enough to get the title from the bank haha I'll never sell it. If I stop riding it someday, I'll put in a few bucks to make it look new, and then it can serve as eye candy for the rest of its/my life.

Oh very nice, I hope to live there at some point. Either before I move out of Oregon, or if I ever move back after that. Great part of 'Merica.

I like the color scheme and everything, I just hate the word "Chsterfield" along with ye olde style "C".

It makes me think of medieval Chester Cheetoh.

Bend is a great place for just about everything, but an mx'er or a surfer.

Yeah I'm a little surprised no one has any good MX set ups over there. The people are the right type of people for it, and the weather is probably more forgiving than the coastal side of Oregon that I live on. Maybe I'll have to put on my entrepreneurial cap and get on that.

That because you are just a kid and wouldnt know "classic" if it jumped up and bit you in the ass Laughing

In all seriousness though, i somewhat agree but it is the logo of the company so...no real choice in the matter and it never bothered me, they just had some rad bikes! (and riders, Donny, and Bobby Moore just to mention a couple) I like the white Chesty bikes even more.

I'm just sayin man. I couldn't remain silent any longer. There is nothing kick ass about some of the bikes being posted. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

Haha trust me I think they look bitchin, just hate the name and the logo. Kinda like Monster and Rockstar for the current crop of radiator shrouds and fenders.

It's ok to be proud of your machine if nothing else they are kick ass to their owners. That's all that matters.

That is awesome dude! he is not only a true legend but he is (i hate to use the word "was") the definition of "pure class" That is so cool and glad you had that experience bud! Im sure you will cherish those memories for the rest of your life. Man...it was such a sad day when we lost him, and so soon (young)...truly devastating.

btw: how about this thread? check out these numbers: 900 replies and 51,418 views, knocking it out of the park! It still has a long way to go to break any records, but it has the potential to get pretty high up on the list, and that is quite a feat w/ the direction the board has taken lately Blink
