That's why he was leaned over the bike so bad he stabbed the front tire in the rut
He could not put his body in the position it needed to be in at the time and ate shit as a result
He has forgot that there are other people who have his talent level that put in more effort on a daily basis to obtain success in this industry.
I have rooted him on every season since Jeff Emig said there's a kid who just got off 80's that is a terror at the Kawi practice track that will surprise the entire world soon
His words were "he's the real deal"
But now it looks like he does not want to make the sacrifices needed to get back on top.
To bad I like the kid and his family and his whole story from p-dub 50 till now
The scary thing is that many of them procreate.
What sort of crashes have they been?
Yesterday was a front end wash... What else, i'm just having a hard time recalling... I know he's stalled it twice...
I do think the Yamaha reacts violently at the speed those guys go... But I also kinda think just like on the Kawi, James runs that chopper setup, stiff front, low rear and he doesn't have as much front end stick as the other guys... He benefits elsewhere but still runs the risk of crashing...
Good thinking
and thanks for understanding the humor.
Pit Row
Some people just see all the negatives instead of focusing on what he is doing that is positive. I'm still impressed that he is racing at the level he is after round 1, when all others would have likely packed up for the season.
Ironically after he said this he won't return calls from JS7, won't talk to him in person, and walks extremely fast when passing the Suzuki pits. Those are simple the facts.
He should focus on making novice riders feel improved after a 3 day class and stick to a couple posts a month on how to improve on vital as apposed to critiquing James, Chad, RV and crew. (Keeping your finger on the clutch in the whoops has saved Reed how many first turn crashes this year? 0?)
His riding schools are great for the average racer, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to have a good time, but he has no place in the top level anymore IMO. Travis Preston agrees with me.
This season Stewart crashes multiple times less than he did previous two years.
