Yoshimura vs Motoworks

For a mx raced 2012 crf250r which pipe would be better. Im trying to not spend to much money. The yoshi rs4 slip on is $280. Or the motoworks full system is $342 or just the motoworks slip on for $225. My stock slip on is falling apart so thats why I would like to get one. Just not sure what is the best deal and if one exhaust will make more power than another. Thanks

I've never used a motoworks system, but I can say we have used many yosh systems...and honda 250f and 450's always seem to have the most noticeable gains.

I would try to do the full rs-4 system on your bike. I can sell you one at a killer deal if you'd like. Email me @ sthilairemx@metrocast.net

If you dont plan to change the map i would find a stock replacement. Just changing the pipe will probably make the bike run worse.

^^^ Not true. There are gains to be had on the crf250 without remapping it. Obviously remapping will take things to another level.

These bikes are so Lean from the factory and putting a free flowing exhaust only makes them leaner(run hot wear quicker). It is funny how when you put an exhaust system on 10yrs ago and jets were $10 everyone did it now that it cost $100 - $600 no one thinks they need it?

The '13 CRF 250 is significantly rich across the board with stock mapping

What will make more power the yoshi slip on or the motoworks full system?

had great result on the yoshis , still hitting 39 to 40 horses on a stock pipe 2013 crf 250 on pump gas though with just new cam n springs. no mapping required , but might find a hair more when mapping leaner above 7000 rpm @ wot.

I decidned to get the yoshi slip on. Did your remove the spark arrestor? What about the ring? How hard is it to do? Thanks

they seem to run best with spark arrest in , just like they ship it runs the best normally.
