Hey guys i recently got the 2013 crf450 and i purchased a few no toil filters and they arnt fitting to well. The first thing i did was i popped the screen out of the filter cage like i normally do and when i went to put the no toil filters in they were really loose, the filters are just to big. Was wondering if anyone knew what filters fit good on the cage without the screen or if the no toil filters are not up to spec. or just anything that will help me out, thanks alot.

According to NO TOIL their part number for a stock replacement is #1251, they do offer a high flow kit including the cage so it might be possible that filter could fit different.

Even though they cost 3X as much, I only use the OEM air filters on my 2010 CRF. With the way it seals on the airbox, I really don't trust any of the aftermarket filters to seal around the base. I had no problem using aftermarket filters on my 09 KXF, but the Honda just seems to fit different.

I pulled the backfire screen on my 13 as well. I have always used the Twin Air Backfire Filters with the stock plastic cage. The new ones fit good. Part # 150222FR.
The 13 needs remapped when screen is removed or it will run lean. After remap it runs so much better, like a different motor compared to stock.
