It's a long season and the cream always rises to the top. RV was looking a little shaky at the beginning of the season but he's back now. Davi had a good run but RV will win it.

He looks to have things sorted out, but there's still a lot of racing left to do. Anything can happen. Just look at last year, if that knee injury would've happened a few rounds earlier, he could've lost that title. I wouldn't count any of the top 5 out just yet. But he looks to be on point for sure. Definately gonna be some good racing for the rest of the series.

after watching Daytona live I can confidently say that RV is on another level than everyone else... Reed, Barcia and Stewart are all close but RV is the Man and there is no debate about it. I though Millsaps was there also but he looked terrible in Daytona not sure what was wrong with him

Actually he wasn't leading the points when he crashed in 2010, he was almost caught up from being quite a ways back at one point.

What about that race in 2011, when he didn't make the main because him and his Kawasaki were doing DP porn with a tuff block? The guy is great, but he is not Jesus

While RD5 quietly pulls within striking distance.

RD5's strength is his consistency and smooth speed. RV1's stength is "raw speed". I guess smart money is on Ryan but I would still pick Ryan if it came down to it... Wink

Serious note : RV does look to be the favorite as of right now......but it only takes 1-2 bad races ( which he's already had ) and it can be over in a heartbeat. Like I said....he's the favorite right now......but it's a long ways till it's over.

I liked the last few tracks......the first 5-6 tracks I think sucked. BUT......with everyone staying healthy ( mostly healthy ).....it's been an incredible season so far.

Here is to all of them staying healthy and making it to the out doors in one piece!
