New screenname, but I've been on here for years. I know, stfu noob. Any way, I'm 24 years old. I"ve been working for a great company for the last year. I have an opportunity now to going into a sales trainee program. I've been given 14 locations and told to pick a top 5. The locations are listed below. I've ruled out New Orleans, and that's about it. Cost of living is definitely a large factor for me. Besides that, I'm really open to any opinions/advice that can be offered. I lived in the Port St. Lucie area of Florida for about 4 months a couple years ago. It was alright, but not really what I'm looking for. I'm not a party animal or anything any more, but I like to be where things are going on. Doing a lot of research on my own this weekend, but opinions and firsthand accounts definitely can't hurt. Thanks!

I used to live in Asheville, it wasn't bad. If you like to mountain bike, hike, etc..... there are some good places. I kept my bike in my apartment, had a few tracks i could go to within an hours drive. Cost of living is prety low also. Not sure how good it would be for sales though......

If you are single, don't come to Asheville. There is a disproportionate amount of dirty-ugly people here.
It's a great place to visit, but I'm trying like hell to get out.

Now, to add something positive- Atlanta and Charlotte are awesome places to live. There is a large population of young professionals in both areas.
