You guys have been very helpful in getting me answers for my 82 RM, I'm hoping you can help me figure this one out too: I need to find a replacement rear trailing brake arm as the '82 RM 250 arm bends very easy (mine looks like a garden hose). I hear that newer model bikes (no idea which ones specifically) are a direct swap and are much bettere/stronger?

I know the swingarm on the '83 is longer, so that won't fit, but maybe you guys can point me in the right direction.

THANKS!

Suzuki still sells the rear brake torque arm for the 82/83 RM250.

Thank you for the reply. I had one ordered but they are on national back order, and meanwhile I keep reading on forums how the OEM unit is crap and other bikes had much stronger units that bolt right up, but can't find which models those might be.
