LOL what happened at the Monster cup? The top kids like Coop,Shane Mc,Jace Owen,AC and so on are all awesome but one thing alot of people over look is that Cooper always rides a 250 even in the 450 class and I have seen him beat them on a 250. Not taking anything from those other kids because they are all incredible riders but I think right now Cooper has the edge on them.

If I remember right, AC had a tough first moto but won pretty easily in the second.

And cooper started way back and moved through the pack to get the overall. I believe both coop and AC will be racing the nationals this summer and maybe even mcelrath, should be good

Cooper is good and will do fine but when I was at the Vurb classic Shane Mc. handed it to him every moto they squared off. I know Shane was on a 450 but he was quite a bit ahead of Cooper. Also Jace Owens is another fast kid that was beating Cooper in 2 of the motos until late race tip overs cost him some wins.

All in all there is some great talent for our mx future.

and if I remember correctly, Cooper had a really tough second moto. The difference is, he didn't fall a second time, charged from the back of the pack and made a crucial pass at the end of the race to take the over all.

Selective memories on some of you dudes.

The one thing that I've noticed is that he doesn't get very good starts. Maybe I haven't seen him race enough, but when he hits the National Pro ranks he probably won't be able to carve his way to the front like he does now. That's just MHO.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Imagine what's going through Tony Alessi's mind right now seeing the red plate on DM18's bike every weekend after owning him in the amateurs.

There was a bit of an age difference between Alessi and RV if I'm not mistaken. I think that they only raced each other in the mini classes, but not on big bikes. Also, Alessi, didn't ride the 250F very much before he turned Pro. He was usually on the 450. RV might have smoked him had they raced big bikes together, who knows.
