.

On other board about being scammed etc.... Buyer be ware!!!!

I got a "trade" offer from these people! They wanted to trade some Bar Clamps we have with their clamps. After a few emails back and forth, it seemed fishy and after doing some checking on posting activity, out of Canada (not saying Canadians are bad) things just did not add up etc.... So I never did the trade! Good thing, sometimes it best to go with your gut feeling on these things!

Thanks for the heads up!

Maybe the webmaster can put a sticky up at the top of the page to post these Dirt Bags so Vital members and others will not get burned...!

Has a "Hookit" page too... Hookit Youth Ride Challenge

These people are sill at it, check out the Google search link Google Search Link Still trying to scam others in the Automotive side of things too!!

He almost got me last week....I talked to him on the phone for about 45min, seemed like a Ok guy...but a few things he said got me suspicous!....its sad to say but someone who's super excited about a product he "says" he has could easily be ripped off by him. Also x10 on the karma! I sent him a message after letting him know karma will get him...if I was him I would be careful next time he swings a leg over a bike.....motocross is a dangerous sport! Haha

Hey, thanks for this post. We were recently contacted by David Hope, director of Youth Ride Challenge Program and he requested a lengthy list of items for his program. The email lists 9 bikes and says they assist youth ages 9-16 on 80's, 125s, 250s, & 450's. If the program is legit, then it seems like a very remarkable program, unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), this is the only reference to the program we can find anywhere.

We appreciate the heads up.

Thanks guys for the heads up on this.
I have a program where I help injured riders. Its not a huge program but a little bit can go a long a way sometimes.

I will never take cash for IRIN.
I restore 1 bike a year. Always a 2 stroke (cheaper to build).
It is a frame up job and several companies help out with parts if needed.

I sell the bikes and all proceeds go to help local riders that are injured and cant work for a period of time.

I document what was given out so the companies that help have paperwork for their taxes. This also helps show proof of where and how the proceeds were distributed.

When it comes down to doing the right thing and trying to help people it can be a hassle to prove that it is legit. However, it is worth it. Below is a pic of the RM250 I built for IRIN.
