The rider? No. The board? Yes.

The mechanics hang over the fence at times and fully extend out their arms. They should put a fence in front of the fence so that when the mechanics put the boards out, even stretched out, the board only sticks partially out into the track.

I wanna say it was Dungeys mechanic who wanted to fight Pourcels mechanic back when they were both going for the 250 outdoor title. Dunges mechanic thought Poucels mechanic hung the pitboard out there to try and hit Dunge as he went by. It was on tv, anybody remember that?

I think the two fence idea is a good one.

Im not too sure this is real. I have a few pit boards and they are made out of pretty tough plastic. I've had one fly out of the back of a truck on the highway and it survived with only scratches.

Alessi's mechanic got all up in Langston's mechanic's face for this shit back in the mid-2000's right on TV. That was when Alessi rode KTM's in the 250 class. Can't remember which National it was though.

At least I think it was Langston's mechanic. Epic though.

If it is real....looks like particle board...TK...you should know how brittle that crap is....looks like the third piece is horizontal under the mechanics arm??..?

Yeah I see that, but who uses particle board for a pit board? Mine are all plastic. I guess maybe someone is making them out of wood fiber but I wouldn't understand why. I noticed the one KTM sells is made of polysyrene which is very light but pretty strong.

Ok, here's the scoop. That board is indeed made of wood composite and it was Goerkes mechanic, who later apologized for the incident.

It happened to KRok at A1 also in the 250 main. I thought this mech was pretty cheap sticking the board in KRok`s face when his rider has not even landed from the jump.Lap 2 and 4 is all you could see on tv. Funny they were both on KTM`s, but the karma bug bit.
