The op is talking about RC filling in for Josh Hill in the rounds starting from this weekend. KellyMacs point is right on the money. RC is fat, there's no point trying to sugar coat it, no pun intendedGrinning Have you seen the shape Villopoto is in? RC would get his ass handed to him by 90% of the field if he tried to race next weekend in the physical condition he is in.

I dont think KellyMac was trying to insult him or boost his own ego he was just telling it how it is, it would probably take RC at least a year of training to get in to the physical condition he would need to be in to be competitive, it takes a hell of a lot longer to lose weight than it does to gain it!
I think we need photos of all the guys who are talking about how fat RC is.

Is he anywhere near the shape that he'd need to be to compete in the top five? Probably not. Would me make mains? I wouldn't bet against it. Was it the most recent Moto video that had Dungey talking about how fast RC still is?

If RC is 300 pounds I will race him for the MX heavyweight championship. In full gear I tip the scales at 340. He has a few years on me though. lol Oh and it is a 3 lap race on 2 strokes.

Dude, so many of you guys are so out of focus. Apparently most of you have forgotten how talented he is at every area of motocross/supercross riding: starts, whoops, turns, mental game, etc. Go buy and watch the latest Moto vid. Listen to Dungey talk about Charmichael.

Sure he might not be as ripped up anymore and a little heavier, but you think Charmichael doesn't burn motos on a regular basis?? I bet he puts in 30 minute motos all the time still. Come on! We are talking about a guy who LOVES motocross more than any of us do.

Charmichael would probably hole shot, run away for a few laps, get passed by the top 6 in speed and fitness and end up somewhere in the top 10, easily. He would spank Windham and Short I bet based off his talent alone.

You guys don't remember that video where he admitted he couldn't keep up with Reed anymore? That was at the Suzuki test track after he had retired. And that was what, 3 seasons ago?

Yes I remember......but it was 2-3yrs after he retired. "IF" he would of stayed with doing the whole training , practice and everything else......he would be mixing it up front every weekend. In outdoors......if he was 100% focused.....I'd put money down on that guy taking home another championship. Look at where James and Chad were the past few years outdoors.......RC was beating them on a regular basis. He would of continued to evolve just like they have.

Bottom line is......he got a family and didn't need to prove anything any more.....nor ever again as far as I'm concerned.
