They must have some Monster support already with the Monster wrap around on their big hauler.

This is the future of our sport, FAST riders on smaller teams, but this will eventually grow support for these teams where ALL the teams will be able to get good sponsorship because they will all have a good rider. The next 5 years of our sport is going to be EPIC

Testing for Mitch? Mitch was letting him keep riding a bike to try and get a deal going. A team puts out a PR stating they sign a guy and you say that it isnt true? You guys really are dense up there arent you eh....And as far as privateer bikes go, I dont think there are many better than what Tedders are rocking.
Just a little FYI for ya......

you 45.1033° N, 93.6914° W

him 45°30′N, 73°40′W

Good for Ivan and the Tedders!

Hope he can make it a consistent injury free season for a change.

Team Tedder has a damn good program & they're VERY Capable. While they haven't necessarily had Mitch's "In-House" motors...they HAVE had Really good bikes & some serious "Staff" these last few years. By adding someone like Ivan they're showing a desire to grow their program & "Get in the Game" on the big bikes.

I hope they have a great season. They could end up getting the recognition they deserve.

I'm stoked for everyone at Tedder & hope Ivan shreds.

I saw this at MXoN in Lakewood. Anyone know if this was Tedder's a few years ago?
Anyways, happy for both Tedder's and Ivan. Really reminds a bit about when DV12 went to the BooKoo team - small team gets a big name rider. Hope this is a better outcome thoughGrinning

It would be nice if Hanny could get on board with Tedder as well.

What is wrong with Tedder? are they like the bottom of the barrel, like rock bottom for Tedesco? I've never heard of them, but how bad can they be if they're giving him a ride?

Tedder's are the one's that would advertise on RacerX that they needed mechanic interns for the outdoor Nationals. They didn't pay squat, but would pay your way to everything (lodging, food, etc.) throughout the Nationals. I thought it would be the coolest gig to do, at least to do just for one summer. Needless to say 2 kids, a wife, student loans, a house mortgage, and ,worst of all, a nagging boss at work held me back from applying.Laughing

Ive known Matt Tedder for over 30 years....he's a great guy, successful in business, family oriented and in the 80's a top So Cal pro who could win all three pro classes in the same day. I believe he started Team Tedder out of his love of motocross (and tax writeoff?) and has turned it into a professional outfit that anyone would be lucky to be associated with.....i dont know IT at all but i wish him and Team Tedder good luck in 2013.....see ya at Anaheim One !!!

If I had to hazard a guess it would be Disney World. But unlike most of the fools on this board, I admit I have no idea and I am just recalling an interview done with Matt some years back.

I mean either one would be a hell of a contract. I am pretty sure they have some contracts with the state of California as well. Either way it is kickass for Tedesco. Atleast he will be getting paid to race a GREAT bike! I would be interested to know the differences in this bike and last years bike as well. Just cool to have him on a bike he wants to be on and healthy for a change! Go IT9!

Sorry about the last post going thru 3 times...trying to multi-task (not very well). Matt inherited the Hampton Tedder Electric Company from his dad when he passed away though he was always going to take it over...he went to college for electrical engineering. From what i understand (and he and i never really talk about business) it has something to do with rebuilding electrical transformers. Not quite sure but he's done very well and is giving back to the sport which is awesome...
