RV and CR ain't one bit scared of James.
Justin or Trey either, if they were they wouldn't be the champions they are.

They line up every time thinking they will win.

What does the bike have to with it? JS7 crashed on the Suzuki just like he did on the Yamaha. I think its pretty lame that he tried to blame his crashing on the bike. He will crash when he gets pressure like he always has. Still one of my all time favorite riders.

If James starts getting some confidence. Look out.

But it has been the other way around the last two years.

That being said, the Suzuki fits him closer to the Kawi then the Yamaha did.

Should be a good, really good season.

I'll put money on his rear wheel.

Just kidding. Would like nothing more than to see him sweep the whole bloody series.

Well he'll have more speed with the Red Bull gear that's for sure.

I think Stewart is still the fastest guy on a given day, but there is zero intimidation factor any more among RD, RV, CR and probably Canard and Barcia. People have gotten more used to him not showing up than putting 20 top-dog laps in.

One thing that definitely can't pass Stewart....the asterisks mule...

Just kidding. I hope they all stay healthy this year. It should be a great season.

Might be because of Reed & Short stacking up just after the turn and they have to start from zero speed in a rythm section? Stewart came in the rythm section with a normal speed so it's quite obvious he's going to 'blast' by them ...

I submit that there is still an intimidation over everyone (Reed maybe not) by Stewart when it comes to SX....even for this upcoming year. Even with all his struggles, I think he still has that intimidation factor going on in SX..especially now since most think he is on a better bike (Reed said last year somethng to that effect). Has anyone passed Stewart straight up in SX when Stewart has been the Stewart at his best? I don't think so... I still think that when it comes down to it, they are still all intimidated by him (even RV....am I wrong?) and will not put an aggressive pass on him (assuming they get the chance) because they deep down think they are not as fast as him and he will just come back on them and "make me look like a fool" like RC said! with one caveat, Reed doesn't care that JS is faster that him, he will go and take his line away! love it.

....and not a huge JS fan myself....except for his skill on a bike (insane)
Does he have to be on the bike or on the ground when being passed?

Yeah, i'm sure the Ryan's are really scared of Stew taking away race wins and titles against them like he has the last 3 years.

Someone needs to start telling you people that it's not 2008 anymore.

that pass was way too much like this one from last year:

Reed needs an air horn on his bars. Or to stay right over triples.

Stewart has a havy influence on a lot of riders style. I don't get how racers can practice bubbas technique during the week and go and try to race the guy on the weekend without being atleast a little nervous. A lot of people argue that sme of the stuff he does is just for show but its kind of hard to argue when you see him passing the best competitors left and right year after year by using the same technique he mastered. Shits amazing to watch.

I agree they did stop up in the turn before. I was more pointing out the control Stewart can have over his bike (when he's not falling). Plus I don't think 99% of the riders would of made that pass like that and make it stick through the whoops as well.
