My fellow country man #427 Raynear Mejia from Dominican Republic was racing at Mini O`s in the 450 pro sport class, he went down hard and broke 2 ribs and a puncture lung, he was in critical condicion and had 2 surgerys, he is stable now! Send your prayers.

Sounds like he will be just fine.
That is very cool.
These kind of injuries just suck, heal quickly Raynear.

Very glad he is stable now and hope for a speedy recovery!

Good god, to many of these threads lately. Good to hear that he is in stable condition. Should be good to go soon as those ribs heal!

He is from Santiago and our reigning 4x champion!
This is him at Unadilla National this year.

I dont know if is closed for the public but there is no national race anymore there at La Yuca.

Ok, thanks for the info. Miguel Acta used to own a motorcycle shop around Santo Domingo and would bring me down there for some races. If I remember correctly, Tim Ferry used to race some down there too. Sorry for hijacking the thread. Thanks

Cool i remember Miguel Acta and yes Tim Ferry raced here but i dont get the chance to see him but i saw Stefan Evers in his prime race here and lap the entire field lol.
