Same in the UK, scum stealing things that people work hard for.

Napalm the lot of them, the world would be a better place.

Well, i know u picture France as a Woody allen movie, but take a trip to Marseille's northern neighbourhoods, and u'll see something as gnarly as the bronx, and def more dangerous than Brooklyn worst area's for example. I've toured a bunch of american city's, just went through Oakland in the Greyhound bus so i can't say for there, but i honestly felt way safer walking at nightime in any east coast, south or west coast city's than i did when i got back home. Except maybe for downtown Dallas, at 2am that was scary as shit!

I know it's far from the french cliché, but there's some real shitholes round here, believe me. I tend to think it has something to do with the fact that ur gangs are well organised, the guys are here to make fat stacks dealing and shit, not to bother everybody that crosses their path. In france it's not that organised, it's kind of every block against every block, with a bunch of real young fuckheads that don't care bout nothing and don't receive any orders from the area's boss.

So yeah, we do have gnarly getthos, and yeah, i felt way safer in America than in southern France, despite all the MTV played gangstas myth
And Marseille once supplied America with 90% of its heroin.

Damm right, the mighty french connection. These guys weren't thugs though, they were des Monsieurs

I had a knife held to my throat by a half French half Italian guy from Marseille once. One of the most intense moments of my life for sure! Grinning

He was built like one of those guys you see on World Strongest Man and very mysterious. In his own words "I don't work, I make money, the police don't touch me..."

That was his half Italian side taking over. A true French would be a lot more subtle when robbing you :-)
Bile thievery is nothing new in the south. My bro had 2 of his stolen way back when. But then again, he bought the same model that was popular with the local gang.

You probably felt safe walking around the ghetto at night because you did not know how ghetto it really was. And usually most tours stay away from the worst parts. Not all gangs over here are "organized" with a head "boss" I'm sure France has it bad but you are definitely underestimating how bad it is here or what the gang life here even includes.

Here's a pic of not even half of the gangs in the LA area. It is every block against every block as you say it is in france. The more organized gangs are prison gangs.

Wow. You spell America with a "k" on election day. You're so edgy.

Being edgy is not for everyone.

The Police Station by Chateloup les Vignes is called "Fort Alamo"

Policemen gets in for their shift, and locks themself.... inside....
It is safer.
For them ^^

Euh yeah, right, i def wasn't part of any tour lol i was more like kicking around with mybackpack from echo lake to inglewood and finally slept in some hollywood street cause i made it to late to the youth hostel. Whatever, im not saying u guys live in cindarella's world just that it's safer cause hoods are busy doin some serious business, whereas ours are desperate and would stabb you for a wrong look, whereas yours would rather get you hooked on crack to have u come back everyday. They 're not as much out of control as ours here cause they mean business

Otherwise, at least one of JMB's bikes was a true factory one. If I'm correct, he had to pay to get them back ...
Didn't it happen also to JMG ? He had championship racers stolen in a barn, in the family's ranch or something... Did he got them back ?

Two things

1. It's funny to see America and France try and put ghetto each other.

2. Why would CP377 purposely get his bike stolen when I'm sure he gets money to show?

WTF? We here for the love of MX/sx, or something else? I feel bad for CP, hopefully he will get another scooter in time. Also his bike had some issues, so maybe it's not such a loss in the end! Silly Picture that ghetto kid doing a wheelie, and that EFI goes bad LOL! Woohoo

Bonjour, yes mx2k used to be this awesome place, kind of like vital but way smaller so we'd know one eachother and absolutely free: no moderator for the last 12 years!

But within the last few days, a bunch of people got kicked out cause they made the same joke to many times! too bad.

So we all decided to meet over here to turn vital French.

And all of you English speaking people can go over there to talk about how badass your rider and your gangstas are:

Don't worry...those bikes are in great hands. You should see them on YouTube by next week pulling the sickest wheelies down the streets of Baltimore.. Woohoo Whistling Laughing

I keed...I keed...seriously joking there cuz' I enjoy those dudes...surprised no one else said that by now though.

Wasn't Liam Neeson's daughter kidnapped and entered into a smuggling gang over there once? Silly

No, it's just my take. You live here, and i live there. And we're comparing one with the other. Have you spent quite a bit of time in Europe? I have in North America. So my take might be somewhat accurate, having witnessed both sides.

I felt safer in most Us citys than in some French citys, that's a fact.

But im just suggesting an explanation, based on what i felt in the US and what i witnessed in Canada in a town where every single illegal activity is supervised by the Hell's Angels. Just my humble take.

I got a bit carried on cause i know that many Americans who have never lived in Europe tend to think France is filled up with romantic poets and mimes lol

Quebec is big on stealing too...lots of bikes, trucks and trailers have left the Montreal SX via douchebags.

Coincidence, doubt it.
