Any suggestions on a good bike for a 10yr old girl. She's never ridden before and wants to do out trail/desert riding. I was thinking a new KTM 500, but, got that look of don't go buying yourself another bike :-). Seriously, any recommendations?

Can't go wrong with Honda's XR 80 or 100. Will run forever and a day with minimal maintenence.

I would think her height, weight, and strenght would be the deciding factor.

Suzuki ds80, dr-z125
Kawasaki 110L-if she doesn't enjoy it you have a good pit bike.

Look for a used yamaha TTR90, Crf70 or KLX110. I wouldn't waste money on a new one for a first bike. Make sure the throttle has alot of freeplay and even a throttle stop if possible until she gets the hang of it.
