What a stupid response. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together recognizes that Reed's chances last night were greatly reduced because of his starts. He had the speed to run with the front, but it took him too long to get there. I made the same comment to my wife last night - he needs to go home and rip starts every day from now until A1.

I reckon by round 5 or so Reed will be back in his swing. You could kind of tell from the press conference he wasn't bringing his A game (yet).... Think we saw his B- game last weekend. haha.

Crazy really that RV is so on point 3 months before the series kicks off after sitting on the couch all summer.

I agree with most of this. Except for he was only on the couch for half of the summer....but I know what you mean he hasn't raced all summer. One thing I have learned about Speedy Reedy is never ever count him out!

He looked good but still has a ways to go. I wonder how different his new bike is compared to the '12, they seemed to be adjusting something every couple laps in practice.

Real racing is still 2 months away. I'm sure he has more important things to do now than start burning clutches. He'll be fine by January 5.
