Ill admit that i thought the USA would walk away with the title,i didn't realize what an advantage the rest of the competition had by having experience on that track . I didn't know much about lommel until recently , had i known what kind of track it turns into i probably wouldn't have been so confident in a USA victory.

The day I see an American rider win the AMA national outdoor title in order to get a ride oversees will be the day we all concede that the GP mx has the best riders...until then your only blowing smoke up our ass...or blowing smoke up your own ass..

I don't see no troll here. And you're 40 years too late. Brad Lackey and Danny LaPorte were already AMA National motocross Champions, Lackey 1972, LaPorte 1979, before going to Europe, securing Japanese manufacturer Factory rides (on Works bikes) and then winning America's first World titles in the 500 and 250 classes, respectively. And with that stupid statement all I see is you blowing smoke up your own ass, and probably licking yer nuts at the same time (cause you feel sorry for yourself). I've been going to GP motocross for more than 30 years, and I don't care if they were riding on dogshit today, we got our ass kicked. The best in the world, should win on the other guys home track. If you don't recognize the photos, the first two are Brad, and the others Danny. Sorry for being so harsh, but you seem like a real dick. Ever tried following the GP's with boots on the ground? Harder than it looks.

I wish all you bitches could get together and make the world see that this is the greatest sport in the world since WWII GO USA We will get them again next YEAR!!!

The US were beaten by the TRACK, period. If JH was the all-round MX god then how come Tommy Searle showed him the way home on more than one occasion this season ?
This was more of a beach race than a motocross race, i never EVER expected team US to come to terms with that.
I still thought there was a chance for them with consistant top ten placings but i couldn't see any other way for them.
I'm NOT American but i'm objective enough to realise why we were never gonna see the best of team USA.
However this should give the GP countries a real boost in confidence going forward.
I'm gonna make the trip to Germany next year where i fully expect to see a very different story. Although i hope this is the start of a European resurgence.

Herlings was about 2 corners away from Justin when his front brake blocked. Herlings was at that time 6 or 7 seconds a lap quicker, so he would have lapped Barcia if he didn't crash anyway.
In race 3 Barcia was way better. I think by then he realised he had to race his own race instead of trying to win and hurt himself.

Herlings is talented enough to get SX dialed in. He's never done it so he'll probably wont win races in his first season IF he comes across the pont. But I'm pretty sure he can win in SX too, if he wants to and trains hard for it.

Herling and AC rode superior today........I haven't seen anyone try to take that away from them.

Germany and Belgium.......what can we say?......they rode awesome today and deserved to be on the top 2 steps.

But guess what Mohammed........we took the 3rd spot. Where did France finish dick head?
No Frosard or Pourcel for France and no David Phillapaerts for Italy, and a DNF for Jeremy Van Horebek, my how that 3rd step looks like a gift more than a accomplishment...

i think its cool that most of you respect the achievments of those guys, and i respect team usa for giving it their all!
most of the guys who follow ama and gp's thought this could be the upset year and it turned out to be one hell of a des nations! well done to all.... bet the party was wild last night!!!

That's not exactly true. Herlings didnt lap Guarnari who finished 5th and was behind Barcia when his brake locked with less than 1 lap to go. The last person he lapped was Baggett who finished 6th and was actually in 7th until Justin had his issue....

And if we are going to claim the back to back moto's scenerio for Herlings, lets not forget that Justin was in the same class and did it as well. If thats why Herlings couldnt catch AC even though he closed the gap to 1 sec with 3-5 laps to go, then the fact that Justin beat guys like Desalle, Paulin, Searle and Nagal makes his ride even more impressive. AC's best lap time was 4 sec faster than herlings and justin's was only 3 sec off Herlings....

everyone knows laptimes mean nothing, you should know that having a fast 1st lap on a less rough track with no one infront to get in the way is a massive bonus... BUT yeah AC is the man!

I agree totally about the lap times, but AC's lap was on the same track as Jeffrey's. Those are lap times from the 3rd moto not the first....direct comparison.....I just can't believe so many people who follow the GP's and who don't live in the US wont give Cairoli the props that he deserves....

Nothing to get over my friend. Just so you know, it takes more than victory on the track to earn true respect and until he learns to conduct himself like a champion my respect is ON HOLD.#
And don't use his age as an excuse. 18 yrs is enough time to learn basic manners.

Tommy had some good moments but a World Champion is consistent all season in all environments and conditions. Tommy was a winner and not taking anything away from him ( the 2 DNF"s did him in),but Jeffrey is the World Champion

I think its enough with the bs talk right now.. yes the americans got owned by some of the GP riders,we all know it. But they have won 6times in a row and is always strong. this time they came in third place, that is NOT bad. and barcia did a great in his last moto. We all watch the AMA and i for one love the american riders! I also loved that Cairoli and Jeffrey and some of the other riders could show what they are capable of. I think we need to show some class instead of putting the us riders down because they had a "bad" race. Next year they might take it back or they might not.

and its NOT ok to boo at the us team at the podium. thats just no class..
